After our highly successful appearance at The Cambridge Club Festival, The RIOT Rehab Bus returned to The Childerley Orchard bigger and badder than ever! There was still the RIOT disruption caused by the previous weekend making its home on the fields and we planned on amplifying our cry at Strawberries and Creem Festival with our very own RIOT E-Liquid, Drum & Bass Arena! Drums, bass and smoking quitters were in abundance, let's dive in shall we?
A Weekend of Wonder
Socialising, drinking and dancing would be the three words used to sum up a tasty festival like Strawberries & Creems and are also HUGE triggers to smoking which is why we were here to show the masses there is a 95% healthier alternative…
Named as ‘one of the most vital festivals we have in the UK’ by The Guardian, we expected a weekend of magical music, funky festival fits and colourful culture and we were not disappointed! The Saturday opening day attendees were in expectance of 10,000 people to marvel at superstars such as Ludacris, Mabel, Tion Wayne and Wilkinson. It was safe to say that Saturday was our busiest festival day yet with people flooding in to learn about R.I.O.T’s 4 steps to quitting smoking and supplying their vaping needs for the weekend with our rebellious RIOT Bar disposables!
The crowds, music and weather may have completely changed compared to our previous appearance in the fields of Cambridgeshire but there was certainly one thing that was consistent. We quickly became one of the busiest, if not THE busiest area at the festival attracting anyone and everyone who were searching for the talk of the town - the RIOT Bar! Headliners in our very own RIOT E-Liquid Arena such as Wilkinson, Kanine and Sub Focus distracted us all from the pouring rain and brought all of the D&B vibes with killer sets! Our team were able to go on stage and show our followers the view from backstage as we looked upon the sea of ravers. Check out our Instagram for all of the BTS content!
Quickly and surely our RIOT Bar flavours were flying out, replacing the infamous Elf Bars that most vapers were equipped with. Anyone who had tried our RIOT Bar was blown away by how much more tasteful and smooth our flavours were compared to the Elf Bar. We don't know what filled our RIOT recycling bins up more, empty RIOT Bars or unwanted Elf Bars…
Our UK made flavours that were created in our home laboratories shined all day on Saturday and we knew the same theme would reoccur on the super Sunday!
The Sunday kicked off with some surprise sunshine after a wet and muddy Saturday setting the tone for a beautiful day ahead. We had so many new RIOT recruits who we met the previous day come over again and tell us how much they loved the RIOT Bar! They would come and restock for the second day, sit in our stunning white canvas seating area before putting on their raving shoes and heading back off into the chaos. Set’s from the brilliant Harriet Jaxxon, Vibe Chemistry and Voltage fired up the energy in the RIOT Arena supplying us with our own Rehab Bus tunes!
Wrapping Up
We were so happy to be a proud sponsor of Strawberries & Creem 2022 and we will surely be back in the future. Having our own Drum and Bass tent was something we were even more excited about as RIOT couldn't relate to another genre more with our passion and boldness. Using the music and smoking knowledge we were AGAIN able to complete our mission for the weekend in converting hundreds of smokers and getting them started on their quitting journey. We came, we saw, we conquered!
