Key Takeaways
➔ 0mg vape juice is normal e-liquid with zero nicotine — full flavour, full vapour, no nicotine hit.
➔ It suits vapers who've stepped all the way down from nicotine, cloud-chasers, and people who just enjoy the ritual and flavour.
➔ Riot stocks a dedicated 0mg range in 10ml bottles — genuinely nicotine-free, not a base you build on.
➔ Shortfills are a 0mg base designed for adding your own nicotine — different thing, different purpose.
➔ You must be 18+ to buy. Nicotine vaping is substantially less harmful than smoking; if you don't smoke or vape, don't start.
What is 0mg (nicotine-free) vape juice?
0mg vape juice — also called nicotine-free or zero-nicotine e-liquid — is exactly the same as any other e-liquid, minus the nicotine. It's made from the same base of vegetable glycerine (VG) and propylene glycol (PG) plus flavourings, so you get the same taste and the same clouds; you just won't get a nicotine hit or throat kick.
Because there's no nicotine, 0mg is often a bit smoother to vape, and it lets you enjoy a flavour purely for what it tastes like. Everything else about how you vape it — the device, the coil, the airflow — stays the same.
Who is nicotine-free vaping for?
0mg isn't only for one type of vaper. It tends to suit:
Vapers finishing their step-down
If you've worked your way down from 20mg to 10mg to 5mg, 0mg is the final rung — keep the habit and the flavour, drop the last of the nicotine. Our guide to vape strengths walks through the full ladder.
Cloud chasers and flavour fans
High-VG 0mg liquid is popular with anyone who vapes for the clouds and the taste rather than the nicotine.
Social and "sometimes" vapers
If you like the ritual now and then but don't want nicotine in the mix, 0mg lets you join in without it.
The best 0mg e-liquids at Riot
Riot's nicotine-free range covers the same bold flavour families as the rest of the line-up, so stepping to 0mg doesn't mean settling for less. A few directions to explore:
| If you like… | Try this flavour family |
|---|---|
| Sweet & fruity | Berry, tropical and mixed-fruit blends — browse Fruits |
| Cool & refreshing | Menthol and ice blends — browse Menthol & Ice |
| Sweets & drinks | Candy and drink-inspired flavours — browse Candy & Drinks |
Whichever direction you lean, you'll find a 0mg option in the nicotine-free collection. Prefer a pre-filled pod with no nicotine? There's a 0mg Connex pod range too.
0mg range vs shortfills — don't mix them up
This trips people up, so it's worth being clear. Our dedicated 0mg range is genuinely nicotine-free and ready to vape straight from the bottle. Shortfills are also nicotine-free in the bottle, but they're designed as a 0mg base you add nicotine to — you drop in a nic shot to reach your chosen strength. So if you want zero nicotine full stop, pick the dedicated 0mg range; if you want to mix your own strength in a bigger bottle, that's shortfills.
How to choose your first 0mg flavour
Start with a flavour you already love. If your go-to is a fruity blend, pick its nearest 0mg match; if you vape menthol, stay in the ice family. Because 0mg is a touch smoother, flavours can come through even more clearly, so a flavour you enjoyed at a higher strength is a safe bet at zero.
