The Riot team embarked on an epic adventure, setting off bright and early for a 34-hour road trip to our first-ever European festival, Snowbombing 2024, in Mayrhofen, Austria!
The Road Trip Kicks Off
We kicked things off with a pit stop at the Griffins Head in Canterbury. Guests were serenaded by a live band while we fueled up on sausage and bacon sandwiches. And for those who couldn't wait to start the party, the alcohol was flowing, setting the tone for an unforgettable journey.
Next, it was off to Dover to catch the ferry to Calais. After a short stint across the English Channel, we hit the road again, cruising through France, Belgium, and Luxembourg before stopping in Germany for the night. Snowbombing hosted an awesome party for all the road trippers, featuring delicious food, drinks, and entertainment, including a road trip quiz where the Riot team scored a close second!
Arrival in Mayrhofen
Another early start and we were back on the road for the final leg of our journey. Six hours and some breathtaking views later, we arrived in Mayrhofen! The road trip barbecue welcomed us with open arms, and the Riot Noise truck got the party officially started. Shout out to all the road trippers who rocked the fancy dress and awards ceremony—you all smashed it!
We then headed into town for the arrival parade, led by our Riot truck. The streets were packed with Mayrhofen locals and Snowbombers, all ready to get the festival started.
A week of ice-cold chaos
With Connex primed and ready to make its festival debut, we strapped ourselves in for a week of madness. And we were definitely proven right… the Snowbombing crowd did not disappoint and the feedback on Connex was better than we could ever imagine! Everyone who interacted with the team and our activation left with a lasting impression. Not just with their favourite new vape but their bright pink Riot merch. I don’t think our bucket hats and balaclavas will be forgotten about anytime soon ;). With a sea of pink now taking over the city of Mayrhofen and the mountains we knew we’d left our mark.
Riot Noise Takes Over
Riot Noise truly took over Snowbombing 2024 with DJ lessons and unforgettable sets keeping the party going all week long. Their 2nd stage takeover at the Snowbombing Street Party was legendary, with the whole city coming out to party amidst the stunning mountain backdrop. Special shout out to our Riot Noise DJs, LOL, dra.f.t, Samuel Morgan, and Selecta Squared—you guys fucking smashed it!
Shaking Up the Vape Game
We didn't just bring the noise; we shook up the vape game at Snowbombing 2024! Our mission was clear: disrupt the festival scene, prove you can quit your own way, and eradicate disposables. With our innovative approach and the debut of Connex, we proved that vapers can party hard while still kicking the habit..

Snowbombing 2024 was nothing short of incredible. We left our mark on Mayrhofen, from the epic road trip to the unforgettable festival moments. The Riot team can't wait to do it all over again next year. Same time, same place? You bet!
