Customer FAQs

Is vaping better than smoking? Hell yes. Vaping poses just a small fraction of the risks of smoking. In 2023, researchers at Brunel University London found that the NHS could save more than £500 million a year if half of adult smokers made the switch. That's the power of transformation.

Smoking remains one of the leading causes of preventable death worldwide – taking 250 lives every day in the UK alone. This is a battle we need to fight, and we need to fight it fiercely.

Cigarette smoke is a toxic cocktail of over 5,000 chemicals – 70 of which are known to cause cancer. Smoking is responsible for 7 in 10 lung cancer cases in the UK, according to Cancer Research UK. These stats aren't just numbers; they're a call to action.

Let's face it: smoking is a killer. But together, we can challenge the status quo and inspire change. Embrace your inner warrior, take that bold step, and join the movement towards a healthier, smoke-free future. This is your R.I.O.T. journey. Own it.

How are e-cigarettes regulated? Let's break it down. Vaping products containing nicotine fall under the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016 (TRPR). These bad boys need to be notified to the MHRA and must meet specific standards. For instance, nicotine content is capped at 20 milligrams per millilitre (mg/mL) before they can hit the UK market.

On the flip side, vaping products that don't contain nicotine are governed by the General Product Safety Regulations 2005, with local authority Trading Standards departments enforcing these rules. This ensures all vaping gear, nicotine or not, meets safety standards.

This isn't just regulation; it's a promise of safety and quality. So, when you pick up that e-cig, know that it's been through the wringer to ensure you're getting the best. Let's keep pushing boundaries and staying informed. This is your R.I.O.T. journey. Own it.
