Glossary:
PG = Propylene glycol (PG) is a common ingredient in e-cigarettes and vape juices that helps create vapour when heated. It's also used to carry flavourings, colourings, and nicotine.
VG = VG stands for vegetable glycerin, which is a key ingredient in vape juice. VG is a thick, odourless, and flavourless liquid that's designed to produce vapour when heated.
Nicotine = The amount of nicotine in a vape depends on the brand and the strength of the e-liquid, which can be anywhere from 0–20 mg/ml. A UK-regulated disposable vape with a nicotine level of 20 mg/ml and 2 ml of liquid contains about 40 mg of nicotine, which is roughly equivalent to 20 mg of nicotine delivered to the user. This is similar to the amount of nicotine in 20 cigarettes, which contain 200–300 mg of nicotine.
mg/ml = The nicotine strength of vape liquid is measured in milligrams per milliliter (mg/ml). The number on the bottle indicates how many milligrams of nicotine are in each milliliter of e-liquid. For example, a 12 mg/ml e-liquid has 12 milligrams of nicotine in every milliliter of liquid.
